We have created an Exclusive Car Hire Service designed in conjunction with our excellent rental company specifically for our guests. It is born of a deep-held frustration around the negativity that can surround the Car Hire industry in terms of hidden costs together with the time-consuming paperwork that can be involved. We are delighted to present our truly exclusive service.

Please note:

We cannot confirm a specific car model within a group
All vehicles include air-conditioning and a radio/CD
All vehicles come with a map of Turkey, a torch, a basic first aid kit and a 24-hour emergency breakdown service
1 & 2 day hire is available in Kalkan, Kaş & Fethiye regions ONLY
Groups D, E & F are available in the Kalkan and Kaş regions ONLY
Group G is available in all regions - however 1-6 day hire is applicable to the Kalkan and Kaş regions ONLY

Should Guests booking a property with an Inclusive Vehicle wish to change that vehicle it is possible, however a subsidised ‘exchange’ rate is charged as the specific Inclusive Vehicle is contracted with the property. The rate displayed is applicable per week.

Rental Periods

Subject to availability rental can start on any day of the week
The minimum rental period is one day (Kalkan, Kaş & Fethiye) and three days in other regions
For two days rental, double the daily rate
For rental between 4–6 days, divide the 3-day figure by 3 and multiply by the required number of days
For rental above 7 days, divide the 7-day figure by 7 and proceed as before.

Full Insurance Cover is Provided

Our rates include unlimited mileage, insurance in compliance with Turkish law, collision damage waiver and government tax.
It is usual in Turkey that this insurance does not include damage to lights, windscreens, and tyres with an excess insurance made available locally to cover this.   However we INCLUDE FULL INSURANCE  COVER - covering all items with NO additional payments due.

No Additional Charges

Our dedicated Exclusive Car Hire Service has been created to provide a hassle-free service for our own Guests. In our opinion one of the most irritating aspects of hiring a car is the inconsistency of additional charge policies. We are therefore delighted to present the following confirmation of additional charges within our dedicated service:

Excess Insurance Cover    No Charge - as Full Insurance is provided
Accident / Damage – minor   No Charge - as Full Insurance is provided
Accident / Damage – major   No Charge - as Full Insurance is provided*
Petrol at end of rental     An 1/8th of a tank is provided to get you started**
Traffic & Parking Fines (a rare occurrence) Guests settle locally - if preferred this can be via our local team
Drop-off Charges       No charge for the local area. See below for other regions

Special notes:

Major Accident Damage: As is usual any necessary reports must be obtained for 'major' incidents. Clear information is provided in situ and our local team will provide assistance if required
Petrol at end of rental: We would politely request that the vehicle is returned with an 1/8th of a tank, however we will not ask you for funds.

Delivery

PRE-BOOKED:  

Cars booked for delivery on or between Sunday-Friday: 
All vehicles will be delivered by 10:00 and collected at approximately 08:00 (therefore 7 days rental = 7 days use etc). Hotel Guests will leave their keys at reception so the car hire company can collect at 08:00 without disturbing you. Villa Guests will leave their keys in the glove compartment for the same reason.   

Saturday (main arrival day) - 7 day hire: For logistical reasons all vehicles will be delivered by 10:00 and collected at approximately 18:00 (therefore 7 days rental = 6.5 days use etc)

INCLUSIVE: We will transfer you to your property where your inclusive vehicle will be available upon arrival. The vehicle will be collected from your property approximately 2-3 hours prior to your transfer on the day of departure.

Backup Service

Should you have the misfortune to have an accident or mechanical breakdown and you are in the general local area - a replacement vehicle will be provided within 6-12 hours (sooner whenever possible)
In the event you are further afield, a rescue service to fix the vehicle on the spot will be actioned quickly. If the vehicle cannot be fixed, you will be driven back to your property and a replacement vehicle provided as above.
Please note: Subject to availability the replacement vehicle might be of a lower category until the original vehicle is again available.

Fuel Top-up Service - £50

As previously described, an 1/8th of a tank of petrol is provided within our standard service to get you started - sufficient to cover approximately 30 kms. We are happy to top this up with £50 of fuel prior to your arrival. This service must be pre-paid in the UK and you will be provided with a receipt from the local garage on your arrival.

Drivers

Drivers must be a minimum of 21 for cars and 25 for jeeps
Two drivers may be named per vehicle and must always travel with a full driving licence, passport and vehicle papers
Additional drivers can be added for a minimal cost (paid locally).

Safety

All vehicles have seat belts. The middle rear seat belt in a five-seat vehicle is a lap belt.
Child seats are available for a charge of £10 per rental. Please note these seats are of a 'one size fits all' design suitable for a child weighing up to 16kg - should you have any concerns we recommend you bring your own.

Driving is on the right hand side of the road and the infrastructure is generally good, though you do occasionally come across all manner of slow-moving farm vehicles!

Drop-off Charges

Vehicles will be delivered and collected to/from your original coastal property without additional charge. Should you require your vehicle to be collected from a differing location the following charges are applicable:

Kalkan, Kaş & Islamlar & Fethiye  £50
Bozburun Peninsula  £70 
Antalya & Bodrum    £75 
Izmir & Şirince     £100

Cancellation

Should you decide to cancel your pre-booked car hire when in Turkey a two-day charge is applicable.
