  • Sea Kayaking at Kekova - 2 days/1 night

    A two-day sea kayak with overnight camp on a deserted beach. For Guests in the Kaş, Kalkan & Islamlar Region.

    Day 1. 15km, 3 hrs paddling

    An early start with a transfer to Uçagiz. Following a full safety briefing from your expert guide, you head off to the ancient site of Aperlai where the night is spent in a wild camp.  

    Day 2. 15km, 3 hrs paddling

    Paddle to Kekova Island to see sunken city. Then on to Simena with an opportunity to climb to the castle (Kale), with its stunning views over the surrounding area. At the end of the day a transfer is provided back to your property in the Kaş, Kalkan or Islamlar region.

    In the 2nd century AD, an earthquake shook the ground beneath the Lycian City of Simena so hard that half of it dropped 6ft or more into the sea. Nearly 2,000 years later, on a two-day paddle down the remarkable Kekova coastline, you can peer into the clear waters to see submerged ancient ruins, sunken sarcophagi and medieval hilltop fortress crumbling over the cliffs.

    You’ll fly out Friday (or any) evening, back late Sunday, camping for one night on a deserted beach, where your guide will sort your fish dinner, and spending the other in a terracotta-tiled cottage-room at the plush Deniz Feneri Lighthouse, on the seafront.

    Day 1: Arrive Turkey, overnight Deniz Feneri Lighthouse

    Days 2 & 3: Overnight Wild Camp

    Day 3 evening: depart Turkey or enjoy additional nights of accommodation.

    Cost: £540pp includes: transfers, bed & breakfast at hotel, full board overnight wild camp with guiding.
