How to Book & Financial Protection
Your Initial Enquiry
Our website contains detailed information on our portfolio, flights and associated services. We intentionally do not provide the ability to book online as our offering is somewhat more than simply a holiday. Key to our philosophy is that our team have an in-depth knowledge of our portfolio and regions. We believe passionately that you receive the very best advice to ensure your choice of holiday, services and specific flight (if required) is perfect.

This feature allows you to create a personalised shortlist of the properties and/or rooms that attract your interest as you explore the site and forward together with any special request or queries you may have.
Whichever your preference, we assure you of our prompt attention and look forward to being of service.
We are open from Monday-Friday 09:00 - 17:00, on Saturday from 10:00 - 14:00 and available on email outside these times.
We are happy to hold an option on one booking, for three working days, whilst you finalise your plans (seven days if the following year). We reserve the right to automatically release all options after three working days.
Options can be held by telephone, email or My Shortlist and in all cases, are only considered held once a reference number is issued. In order to allow us to present our full portfolio at all times, should you decide against proceeding with the booking for any reason, we would kindly ask that you contact us within the three day period to release the option.
Unfortunately options CANNOT be held in the following circumstances: Within six weeks of departure / For the last few rooms in a hotel / For the last few seats on a flight.
Confirming a Booking
By Phone - We would be delighted to have the opportunity to discuss your prospective holiday with you and would welcome your call to finalise your booking.
Email or My Shortlist - We are equally happy for you to book by email or by forwarding your personalised ‘My Shortlist’ having explored the site. Once received, we will respond promptly to discuss your holiday choice with you and finalise your booking.
Please note: that in all cases a booking is confirmed only when a Booking Number has been issued.
Initial Booking Deposit: In order to confirm the booking a deposit is due for 50% of the accommodation cost PLUS the full cost of any flights arranged by Fairlight Jones. The 35% is calculated from the accommodation cost as displayed in this website prior to any offers that may be applicable.
A deposit is NOT required for: additional guests staying in the same room or villa (though flight payment is due in full if applicable), or any ancillary services provided by Fairlight Jones such as Luxury Days at Sea or Car Hire (any external services that may be requested are due as relevant).
Balance Payment: The balance for the entire booking is due in full 12 weeks prior to departure and therefore for any bookings made within that period.
Payment: Can be made by Bank Transfer or Debit Card.
We take Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro and MasterCard Debit cards. We do not take credit cards as we do not wish to pass charges on. A key reason for our policy being there is no advantage to guests using a credit card for Financial Protection due to the special protection service we have put in place (see below).
Booking Form & Booking Conditions
We do not require a Booking Form to be completed. We will forward a Booking Confirmation by email, and ask that you check this invoice/confirmation extremely carefully as it will carry the full details for your holiday and travel documentation. Please note: when you make a booking and we receive the initial payment, you are agreeing to our Booking Conditions.
100% of Fairlight Jones’ holidays and services are fully financially protected. Unusually for the UK this includes holidays with and without flights and also to guests travelling with us from any country around the world (ATOL and Trust). There are NO exceptions and the service is provided in order to make our financial protection crystal clear and applicable to all our guests. For full details please refer to our Booking Conditions.
